Hi my name is Anne!

My full name is Elizabeth Anne Waidelich, but I go by my middle name. This is my first year at Trinity University and I am from the small town of Floyd, Texas, which is about an hour northeast of Dallas. I attended Bland High School where I was involved in many club activities and where I ran cross-country and track and played basketball. I will also be playing basketball here at Trinity in the fall. I am very close to my family and love them very much. My father is a farmer and my mother is a nurse. I also have an older brother who attends Texas A&M University and a younger sister who is in the eighth grade. When I'm not involved in sports, I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also like to cook. Over the years I have been actively involved in my church, First Baptist Farmersville. During my time at Trinity, I hope to join some of the Christian groups here on campus. I also plan to receive my Masters Degree in Education. I am interested in teaching at the elementary level and also coaching.

I am definitely not a computer pro and will therefore be willing to learn any new information. Throughout high school, I took two years of computer. During one of my classes, we used the Adobe Photoshop program excessively in order to create advertisements, sports programs, bulletins, menus, logos, etc. I found this kind of work especially enjoyable.

*One thing you might not know about me is that I used to show lambs at my county fair.

My Trinity e-mail is elizabeth.waidelich@trinity.edu.

  1. Hi Anne! Welcome to Trinity! I have a friend who is currently in the MAT program here and is loving it, so if you ever have questions about it let me know and I'll pass along her information :)

  2. Nice post, Anne, and a nice photo on your profile sidebar. Your secret fact about your lambs is really unusual - I would not have guessed it. Welcome!

  3. That's so weird! If I have a daughter I was planning on naming her Elizabeth...well actually Katherine Elizabeth, but it's close enough.
